AllClear launches in Brentwood, Essex as the first provider in the UK of specialist medical travel insurance cover. Much of our initial business involved third party medical screening, referrals from standard travel insurance providers and a small amount of sales direct to the consumer.

2011 - 2012

  • AllClear secures a new underwriter relationship with Mapfre Asistencia.
  • The British Insurance Brokers Association appoints AllClear to provide its members with a specialist medical travel insurance product.
  • UK’s Top 50 Contact Centres for Customer Service includes AllClear as a member.
  • AllClear’s Contact Centre wins best Contact Centre Award at the Essex Countryside Awards Ceremony.
  • AllClear wins the Award for e-business innovation at the UK Broker Awards Ceremony.

2014 - 2015

  • The British Insurance Brokers Association re-appoints AllClear to provide its medical travel insurance product.
  • Mapfre Asistencia renews its underwriting facility with AllClear.
  • AllClear launches its specialist travel insurance product in both the Republic of Ireland and Australia.


  • AllClear reveals its new Brand Ambassador – Big Tick -  in a national TV advertising campaign
  • Prestigious insurance brand Zurich agrees to provide a product on the AllClear Travel website.
  • AllClear secures relationships with three leading UK medical charities to provide medical travel insurance product solutions for supporters, families and friends.


  • Launch of a new version of the AllClear Travel website enhances our customer journey and offers a dynamic customer Help Centre.
  • The British Insurance Brokers Association announces the renewal of its medical travel insurance scheme with AllClear for a further three years.
